(About) — Saumya Joshi
I design productsthat make sense to people.
I'm Saumya Joshi, a product and UI/UX designer based in India, designing since 2024. I take web platforms, mobile apps, dashboards, landing pages and MVPs from research and problem definition to prototypes and developer handoff — across real client work and self-initiated case studies.

(01) — The transition
From pharmacy to product
Different tools, the same question underneath: what does this person need to understand — and how do we make that effortless?

Pharmacy

(02) — How I think
Three habits behind every project
- 01
People
Start with the person, their context and their limits — not the feature list. Good flows come from understanding why people act the way they do.
- 02
Systems
Products are interdependent parts — flows, components and states that only work when they work together.
- 03
Information
Complex information should read at a glance. I design hierarchy and language so nothing is left to guesswork.
(03) — Approach
Curious by nature — I want to know why something works before deciding how it should look. Detail-oriented by design — from information hierarchy to the last interaction state.
I work across UX and UI, from research and flows to high-fidelity interfaces, and hand off structured, developer-ready designs — reusable components, interaction specs and documentation — so what ships matches what was designed.
(04) — Process
Five steps, one loop
Adapted to each project — but it always feeds back into the start.
